A brand new show for 2022, Hasta Astor! celebrates the life and music of Argentinean composer and creator of nueovo tango Astor Piazzolla. and features international duo Elena Lorenzi and Stefano Marzanni, who have wowed audiences in 7 Star Arts’ atmospheric ‘Cabaret Beyond Borders’. They are joined by prize-winning violinist Emma Arizza. The show includes some of Piazzolla’s most well known and best loved music, including Oblivion, Adios Nonino and Libertango, together with rarely-performed songs such as Balada Para un Loco and Yo Soy Maria from the tango operita ‘María de Buenos Aires’

Elena, Emma and Stefano will take listeners on a sublime musical journey of emotional crescendos, ecstatic climaxes and melancholic descents, interspersed with narration telling the story of Piazzolla’s life and work.


Hasta Astor! is at The OSO Arts Centre in Barnes and Crazy Coqs, Soho.


We start the year with An Evening with Viv McLean, at The OSO on 13 January. Viv McLean captivates audiences with his expressive playing, in particular the music of Chopin and Gershwin. His illustrious career has seen him perform with leading orchestras and ensembles, including the BBC Concert Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to the Adderbury Ensemble and the Sacconi String Quartet.

More piano at The OSO with Mei-Ting Sun: The Return on 14 January, with a generous programme of music by Scriabin, Schumann, Hindemith and Brahms.
